Jealousy, rivalry, and dark secrets threaten to tear the girls apart in this sizzling follow-up to Capital Girls

It’s the start of senior year, and Excelsior Prep is on Code 3 lockdown. Secret Service agents swarm the halls searching for the First Son’s girlfriend, Jackie Whitman. Outside a SWAT team hunts for the man who’s been threatening the First Family for weeks. Only this time he’s singled out Jackie, leaving a menacing message on the school’s voicemail. Jackie's safe for now, but for the Capital Girls—three privileged kids who live in a political fishbowl in the nation’s capital—every day is filled with tension and thrills. Though, even for them, a raid on the school by AK-47-toting marksmen is a standout.
And a stalker isn't Jackie's only problem.  Still shattered by the shocking news that Andrew cheated on her with Taylor the night Taylor died, Jackie's whole world has fallen apart.  Not only did the love of her life betray her, so did her best friend and idol.  What made Taylor do it? Who was she really?  On top of it all, Whiteny Remick is plotting to take Taylor's place, and Jackie will do anything to stop her.

Secrets and Lies.... those are the things that revolves around the Capital girls' lives.

Jackie, Laura Beth, Lettie and Taylor were inseparable. Until some tragic accident killed Taylor. They don't know who killed her, but they did know who she was with before she died. But can they dig up the secret about Taylor's death, when the last person she's with is the son of the President, who can cover up any secrets and lies...

Jackie is Washington's IT girl, best friend of the dead leader of their clique. She has everything, including a stalker that threatens her life and a cheating boyfriend. Why would someone threatens her life? She's not the president's daughter. Or maybe she did something bad. As for her cheating boyfriend, Andrew, is she afraid to lose him, because losing him means being not in control?

Laura Beth is the second IT girl in the group. She tries hard to be #1. She's so perfectionist. I liked her character, though sometimes she's acting dumb. Like when she let Whitney blackmail her for something she had done.

Lettie is hard to explain. She's a shy and naive girl from Portugal. She left Portugal to follow her dreams, which is to study in a good University and be a lawyer. She stands up for Whitney a lot of times, even though Jackie and Laura Beth hates her.

The other characters are..........go find out yourselves and read the book! ^^

The book was OKAY. It's like Gossip Girl meets Pretty Little Liars. The Pretty Little Liars part wasn't much. Maybe in the next book we'll find out more about Taylor's death. The title of the book fit so much. The book is really about secrets and lies.

I recommend this book to people who likes Gossip Girls, Pretty Little Liars, The Clique and some bitch stuffs in their books.
